We follow strict Quality control procedures implemented by a special in house Quality Control Department. TrackLive is a web and SMS location based service. Using state of the art tracking technology, TrackLive allows us to track our enumerators in the field at desired locations and time.
We conduct quality audits in field termed as Back- checking. The monitors take the monitoring tool (form), get the address of the respondent from survey form and go to the exact location to cross check the information gathered during the interview.
Also field Surveyor undergoes comprehensive training session for every survey. Written instruction manuals are provided to ensure consistency amongst all surveyors. The field surveyors are sensitized to the requirement of strictly following the instructions.
The supervisors are provided with a field editing guideline for spot checking and evaluating the filled in questionnaires during the course of the field work.
5% of each data operator's work is re-entered to ensure the reliability of data entry.
The profile of field surveyor always corresponds to the survey area periphery with special reference to language, culture and socio-economic factors.

IPOR understands that for any given poll the accuracy of wording is as important as is sampling itself. We appreciate the clients who thoroughly understand the climate before building a questionnaire. This not only helps the client in securing itself from any unforeseen reaction, but also determines what aspects of subject ought to be and can be included in the data collection instrument. We ensure the validity of question wording through appropriate methods by pre-testing the questionnaire/translation. Although it is easy and quick to conduct a selection of interview by randomly selected respondents, IPOR fully support to conduct Focus Groups (Male and Female and Urban/Rural) to better understand the respondents of, and reaction to terms, concepts and issues for investigation.
Short and pointed instructions will be provided to the supervisors for the survey, related to customization of introducing the Survey to various concerned groups.
IPOR's fieldwork section has a large pool of well-educated and experienced interviewers. We hire male/female interviewers from this pool who are proficient in the local/regional languages and have experience of colleting survey data. We make sure that minimum education of our surveyors is matriculation but the majority has completed 10/12 years of schooling. During the training sessions extra surveyors are recruited to make up for the dropouts that might be made at the end of all the training sessions on basis of their performance.
The interviewers will be notified to the client in their profile report, they will be provided with written and face to face instructions for this survey, and duly the interviewer training will go ahead question-by-question reading and explanation, wherever necessary. All explanations will be provided to enumerators in written form order to ensure consistency of instruction across interviewers.
