Top Issues Comparison in Last Five years
The Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) has decided to release comparison of public Opinion
rnsurveys and reports about the changes in voter’s perceptions in the last five years. This will give a broader
rnidea on what was major issues before 2103 elections compared to the present situation.
rnAs part of this, the first comparison is drawn on the top issues faced by the voters now and five years ago.
rnThe Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) and International Republican Institute (IRI) conducted a
rnpoll in late 2012 before the elections 2013 to gauge the public perception about issues like load shedding,
rninflation, unemployment, poverty, terrorism and corruption. While in September 2017, the IPOR and
rnGlobal Strategic Partners (GSP) had conducted a poll and asked about the same issues, before election
rn2018.
