Punjab Speaks: Public Perception of Performance CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif 100 days in Office
The Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) conducted a survey in Punjab to assess public opinion on Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's first 100 days in office. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the first female Chief Minister of Punjab, received overall satisfaction from 55% of respondents, though dissatisfaction was higher in rural areas (42%) compared to urban areas (28%). While 60% believe her popularity has increased, 53% find the government's measures effective in reducing commodity prices, with the reduction in Roti prices being the most favored initiative.
