Pre-Election Survey Analysis
June 8, 2018: Executive Director Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) appeared on Express tv program “Center Stage with Rehman Azhar” to discuss the pre-election survey analysis.
The other guests including Dr. Ijaz Shafi Gallani Chairman Gallup Pakistan, Mr. Ahmed Bilal Mehboob Executive Director PILDAT and Ms. Zunaira Azhar took part in the program and shared their opinion.
The participants discussed the pre-elections surveys and effects of media and TV talk shows on public opinion. The Executive Director IPOR Mr. Tariq Junaid talked about the effects of Panama case on Public opinion and said that the Panama Case could not affect the PMLN vote bank to the extent that the PMLN may lost the elections. He also talked about the PMLN narrative and said that the PMLN has successfully changed the narrative. Talking about the Milli Muslim League and TLP factor, he said that these parties have only 5 to 6% vote bank. He also talked about the electoral politics and said that the electable and combine voters of the party can make a difference in elections.
