Majority of Pakistani feel safer after the military operation Zarb-a-Azab

According to a survey carried out by Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR), "62% of the respondents feel safer due to military operation Zarb-a-Azb in FATA, to live in Pakistan is for them and their families.

In a survey of national representative sample of men and women across Pakistan was asked" After the military operation "Zarb-a-Azab" in FATA to what extant do you feel safe for you and your family to live in Pakistan?" 62% of the overall respondent said "Safe", while 34% said "Unsafe" rest of the 4% percentage didn’t answer this question.

The striking different is seen in KPK province where most of the respondents (47%) feel very safe after the operation "Zarb-a-Azab in North Waziristan, FATA.

The interviews were conducted by Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) among a sample of 4,134 men and women with urban and rural division of all four province (Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan). The margin of error is estimated to be approximately ±2% at 95% confidence level. Time period of the study was March 20- April 08, 2015.
