IPOR has renewed its commitment to uplifting the economic status of women in the country by entering into the third phase of Punjab Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW)’s project for its “Job Aasan” initiative. IPOR, in conjunction with the Lahore School of Economics (LSE), successfully completed the first two phases of the project “Overcoming Constraints to Female Labour Force Entry” in 36 women colleges in Lahore and now enters its third phase.

The project is aimed at studying the effectiveness of the “Job Aasan” model in increasing entry of female workers into the workforce. Over the next few months the beneficiaries of the project will be interviewed again, and their responses and present employment situation will help evaluate the success of the project. IPOR seeks to provide useful results yet again to assist government bodies in achieving their objectives.
