61% of the Pakistanis think that the Recent Elections were largely Free & Fair
According to a Survey carried out by Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR), 61% of the Pakistanis think that Elections in May 2013 were largely free & fair as opposed to only 14% thought the elections were not free and fair.
rnrnA nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Do you think, the recently held general elections were free and fair?” Responding to this, 61% said yes, 14% said No and 25% either did not know or abstained to respond to this question.
rnrnThe recent Study was carried out by Institute for Public Opinion Research among a sample of 2489 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during May 18-29, 2013. Margin of Error is estimated to be approximately ± 2% at 95% confidence level.
