HISTORY

With over two decades of experience working in different governmental, non-governmental and international research institutions, IPOR’s Executive Director, with an internationally renowned group of researchers, formed this research institution on modern grounds. With the international expertise at hand, IPOR has unique mix of local expertise and accumulated international experience to best serve our client’s needs.

Welcome to the website of the Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR).  Here you will find information on how IPOR continues to expand in a very little time since its establishment, and how can IPOR help you find the research solutions as per your needs.

IPOR has more than 200 permanent and ad hoc employees, including many senior permanent consultant(Statisticians, Economists and Social Analysts).

IPOR clients are most important to us. We share client’s concerns about maintaining the integrity and security of information collected. And also for our potential new clients, I can assure you of our policy of best quality and sensible prices with prompt and professional services.

image001Tariq Junaid, with his two decades of experience of working in different governmental, non-governmental and international research institutions, formed the Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) in 2011 following the award of a sub-grant from the International Republican Institute.

Junaid holds master degrees in Mass Communications (1991) and Development Studies (1997) from Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Netherlands and completed an Executive Education Certificate in “Strategic Management of Non-governmental Organizations” from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Cambridge, MA, USA.

Program Manager

aneelaMs. Aneela Javaid: She is Anthropologist by profession  joined IPOR as Program manager. She is an M.phil in Anthropology from Quaid-e-Azam University. Ms. Javaid extensive experience with different Organizations. Before joining IPOR she worked with “Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab. a Research Executive in Ac-Nielsen (a leading Multinational research company), and also Mahbub-ul- Haq Human Development Center. With her experience in both Quantitative and Qualitative research she is capable of suggesting best research solutions to the client. Her strong analytical skills also help in analyzing thing from different angles.

Field Manager

2017-11-13 10.41.40 Mr. Asad Raza possesses more than 10 years of experience of leading the designing and implementation of large surveys and studies at the national level in Pakistan. He has worked in the public and private sector organisations in Pakistan with the main responsibly. He is very well versed with requirements of statistically representative samples, quantitative and qualitative survey designs and requirements of the implementation of the surveys of large sample sizes at the national level. He is currently working in IPOR Pakistan and is leading the managing field activities, monitoring, supervision and analysis of data of different projects running under his supervision. Where he had been involved in proposal making, office management, report writing and research related supervision.

Data Manager

Untitled Mr. Abdul Wahid got his Master degree (MBA) from National University of Modern Language in the year 2010. He has extensive experience in Data Management, Analysis and presentation. He has managed number of national projects in the past 7 years in this role. He has solid knowledge of database stats, database analysis, statistical research and analysis of data. He is well versed on analytical software e.g. SPSS, STATA, EPI-Info, CS-Pro, MS-Excel & designing of android application for research and survey. He is extremely analytical, organized and has great interpersonal skills.
